Location: Holiday Inn & Suites (Airport) | 4260 Mitchell Way

What We'll Cover:

The presentation will focus on employment and labor law legislation that passed in 2024. We will review what each organization might need to do to comply with the new legislation. By reviewing the legislation that both passed and failed to move we will also discuss what is expected to move in the future. Everyone that attends should have a better understanding of the current trends in the areas of Paid Family Medical Leave, Unemployment Insurance Compensation, Workers' Compensation and general HR issues. The presentation will give the opportunity to ask questions about the implementation of the new laws. We will also discuss what the future may hold regarding new legislation in 2025.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Understand the implications of changes to key legislation
    • Identify policies, trainings, and agreements affected by the legislative changes
    • Develop an action plan to bring their company into compliance with the changed legislation
