Also, get a preview of likely legislative topics for the 2026 legislative session, as well as an update on agency rulemaking efforts in 2025.

About Our Presenter: Lindsey Hueer
Lindsey Hueer is AWB’s government affairs director for labor, employment law and immigration. She joined AWB in 2024. Lindsey has over 10 years of experience working with the Washington State Legislature. Prior to AWB, Lindsey worked as a lobbyist with the Association of Washington Cities, as well as serving as staff counsel to the Washington House of Representatives focused on labor and employment issues. Lindsey began her career in private practice, representing self-insured employers in Washington workers’ compensation cases. She has also taught business law at Clark College. Lindsey grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland. She lives in Camas with her family.
