Discover your “intent” versus your “impact” with this behavior style enlightening program. When you are frustrated with others, it may be because their communication preferences and needs are different from yours. So, you see them as “difficult” rather than “different.” Individual, team and organizational success is dependent on the ability of people to work together in trusted and respectful relationships. Not so easy, until you create awareness and skills needed to recognize and work to leverage the strengths of all. Traits and idiosyncrasies of decision making, social preferences, and two other key dynamics are revealed. You will recognize and laugh at yourself, as well as recognize others that you seem to “vibe” with and those that you don’t!
Learning Objectives:
Learn how you are different in your preferences from others in four key areas: Decision making, working environment, social settings and quality orientation. Take away strategies for connecting more effectively with those different from yourself, whether it be team members, customers, colleagues or other leaders.
About Our Presenter: Sharon Andrade
Sharon Andrade has been leading and transforming teams for over 30 years. She found her passion for leadership and team development with The Effectiveness Institute where she spent eight years working with clients across industries to improve performance and employee engagement through training and development. She is a Certified DiSC facilitator, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team® practitioner, and Effectiveness Institute program facilitator. Before starting HLeadership in 2022, Sharon held executive roles: VP Sales at Staypineapple, a boutique hotel company, Senior VP of Sales at the publicly traded Red Lion Hotels corp, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Hilton Worldwide and PNW Region Sales Leader with American Express Corporate Services.
