Bellingham Pride Parade

Join Mt. Baker SHRM at Bellingham Pride!

We’re proud to announce that our chapter will be participating in the Bellingham Pride Parade on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

All members are invited to march with us as we celebrate and show our support for the LGBTQ+ community and inclusive workplaces. Let’s come together and represent the heart of HR with pride!

Arrival Time: 10:00-10:30am (see note below about parking!)

Start Location & Parade Route: We'll be lining up on Cornwall Ave, near the intersection of West Laurel Street & Cornwall Ave, behind Gruff Brewing. On the attached map, see the *circled* area for the start location. Look for the *blue* flag and then the Mt. Baker SHRM banner. The route will go north on Cornwall to Magnolia, turn right and go for a block, then take another right onto Railroad (staying to the right side of the road and end at Chestnut and Railroad (the square) - *See the map below*

Parking: According to the event organizers, there is no parking near the parade, so everyone must find parking elsewhere. With nearly 100 groups coming and 15k people attending last year’s festival PLUS TuneUp running this weekend, there will be a definite shortage of parking. Walk/bike/carpool/bus if possible.

Bring a friend: Everyone is welcome to march! I'll have my 9 year old son with me. Additional guests are welcome to march with us. No registration necessary.

Flair: We'll have rainbow HR stickers to wear and share, rainbow temporary tattoos, and the Mt. Baker SHRM banner. You are encouraged to wear rainbows and other symbols of inclusion - and comfortable walking shoes.
