In this interactive session, explore Sonic Leadership: the idea that how a leader’s voice sounds shapes how they’re perceived, trusted, and followed. Through small but intentional adjustments in tone, pitch, pace, energy, and diction, leaders can command attention, project authority, and create more inclusive, influential conversations.

Leaders who understand small vocal shifts don’t just elevate their own presence—they gain a practical framework for coaching others to communicate more effectively in interviews, sales, and everyday workplace interactions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover the unique qualities that make voices influential
  • Identify vocal mannerisms that can undermine your credibility
  • Practice proven techniques to enhance your vocal presence

About Our Presenter: Rebecca Murray

Rebecca P. Murray energizes audiences with the power of voice. As the founder of Showcase Your Shine, she blends theater, tech, and behavior science to help professionals speak with purpose and presence. Her sessions are high-impact, high-fun, and unforgettable—teaching people to engage, influence, and own the room.

She’s passionate about transforming team dynamics by honing the skills of listening, presenting, and facilitating. Based in the Northwest, Rebecca advocates for Voice Equity, using it as a form of applied intelligence to create spaces where shared wisdom thrives.

Rebecca’s fascination with sound began early, singing before she could speak and absorbing the magic of vinyl records on her own player. Her passion evolved into a professional journey—recording, directing, and producing hundreds of audio works, from audiobooks to TV commercials, podcasts, and live-streamed events. As a vocal expert, audiophile, and audio mastering enthusiast, Rebecca now helps clients find their authentic voice and amplify their impact, empowering marginalized voices to be heard and respected.
