United Way of Whatcom County opens doors and removes barriers for our friends and neighbors experiencing financial hardship. Financial instability is a complex issue that requires multiple solutions. By supporting a collaborative network of 24 local nonprofits, we help Whatcom County families get back on their feet and ensure critical services are available for anyone who needs them. We also operate Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for our community, an early literacy program that sends a book each month to all enrolled kids from birth to age five.
